The one where xtine and her roommates go to disneyworld

So my roommates and I evacuated the keys and went up to visit the trav and go to disneyworld! We got there saturday night in time for the end of Chris' bday party. He's travis' brother in law. Then we spent all day sunday in the magic kingdom which is the theme park that you typically think of when you think disneyworld. it's also where travis works. hehe. sorry. it's still funny. awesome, but funny. So we did magic kingdom and then when travis got off work we went to epcot. Then monday we did the animal kingdom and universal studios with travis. now, obvi the animal kingdom was probably my favorite. They had a freakin african safari in there! the savannah area that they keep the animals on is larger than three of the parks combined. we saw lions and elephants and rhinos and all sorts of awesome stuff. but the traditional magic kingdom was pretty sweet. We got to do everything we wanted and there was practically no line for everything. except, oddly enough for the peter pan ride. which we still rode (roommate that was for you). we even saw the disney princesses. then we spent all day tuesday, which was allie's birthday, watching many disney movies as well as live free or die hard. sandy hadn't seen any of the disney classics so we had to educate her. i think the one time we left the sofa was to go to starbucks and get allie some birthday coffee and pumpkin cake. i think travis enjoyed live free or die hard more than the disney movies. weird. the next day was sandy's birthday and we did pretty much the same thing. watched more disney movies and the first die hard. sandy's friends had told her die hard wasn't that good. can you freakin believe it?! so we were quite happy to enlighten her to the awesomeness of john mcclane. We also went to the swankiest mall ever in orlando. they had gucci, chanel, louis vitton (can't spell that name anyways) and all sorts of ridiculous stores like that. but they did have the cheesecake factory where we ate dinner for sandy's bday. i had the most delicious bbq sandwich which almost made me throw up cause i ate it all and then this godiva brownie thing for dessert. which i couldn't eat cause i was so stuffed. oh and they came out with a candle in sandy's cheesecake and we sang happy birthday to her. and she flippin paid for the entire meal! because apparently in switzerland, the birthday girl takes her friends out. ridiculous. and then we came back on thursday. so basically we had a weeklong vacation and the keys didn't even get hit by hurricane ike, unlike poor galveston, which got rocked. oh and roommate i had a pumpkin spice latte just for you.
i filled out all the paperwork for my front desk job which i start on sunday. hopefully it will be ok. if anything, it pays money which this girl needs. seriously. i just paid this month's rent annnnnnnd that's about all the money i have. all the people i'm working with looks like they're older locals who seem pretty chill. in fact, now that i think about it, the owner is married to a guy who works there, the lady who's training me is also married to a guy who works there and the other desk lady is dating one of the guys who work there. the lady who's training me is extremely sweet, but a bit of a ditz. like, i hope i don't go crazy training under her cause she's just kind of spacey. whatever. it pays money. just like miss tally's job and my roommates job! i'm so impressed with my girls.
the dolphins all survived while we were gone! they're so cute. they obviously missed having people around cause they were talkative when we were back yesterday. tanner even got almost every trial right on his number line which is impressive for the little stinker.
ugh and my freakin foot still hurts! i don't think it liked me walking around disneyworld for two full days made it very happy. roommate i was wondering if you had any good swimming workouts. for a short pool. cause i don't know what to do other than just swim back and forth. mk. yea i'm out.
